What is the difference between your Class A and Class B shares?

The Class A Subordinate Voting Shares have one vote per share. The Class B Multiple Voting Shares have 25 votes per share. Other than that difference the shares have all the same rights, including dividends.

Where can I trade shares?

The Class A Subordinate Voting Shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol HII.A. The Class B Mulitple Voting Shares also trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol HII.B. The Class A Subordinate Shares also trade on the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam under the symbol HII.

When is your dividend paid?

On February 27, 2009, Homburg Invest Inc., we announced that should the Board of Directors approve a dividend at the Annual General Meeting of the company, held in June each year, it would be paid in cash only in July of that year.

What are the differences in your bond programs?

The first bonds, where classified as mortgage bonds, in that they were secured by a charge over real estate. Homburg Mortgage Bonds 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are Homburg Mortgage Bonds. The second group of bonds were Homburg Bonds. These bonds are secured by corporate guarantees only, and consist of Homburg Bonds 8, 9, 10, and 11.

I live Canada and want to purchase a bond, how do I do so?

The Homburg Mortgage Bonds and Homburg Bonds are only sold in the Netherlands, and can not be purchased by a Canadian resident.

What is the Homburg Capital Securities A?

The Homburg Capital Securities A, is a new bond secured by a corporate guarantee that has a 99 year life, and bears interest at 9.5% for the first five years. Homburg Invest Inc., which has the option to pay the interest on the Homburg Capital Securities A in either cash or shares of Homburg Invest Inc., has guaranteed that for the first two years, the interest payment will be made in cash.

Can I trade my Homburg Mortgage Bonds or Homburg Bonds?

No, the Homburg Mortgage Bonds and Homburg Bonds must be held for 7 years, at which time they will be renewed by Homburg Invest Inc. Homburg Invest Inc., also has the ability to redeem the bonds early after the 5th anniversary of the issue of the bond series.

Can I trade my Homburg Capital Securities A?

Homburg Invest Inc., has announced that it is the Company’s intention to have the Homburg Capital Securities A trading on the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam by June 30, 2010.

Why is your debt to equity level so high relative to other real estate entities?

Homburg Invest Inc. has debt at two levels. Firstly, we have conventional debt on our individual properties at the partnership level. Homburg Invest is effectively a mutual fund of real estate partnerships, which means that Homburg Invest has no direct ownership of the assets, but rather it owns the units of the various limited partnerships that own the assets. This achieves “asset protection” in that no property can be affected by problems in any other partnership. They are all effectively stand alone.

When is the next scheduled dividend announcement?

The next scheduled announcement of whether there would be a dividend, and if so the amount would be in June 2011.
