Jan Schöningh, MBA
Jan Schöningh joined the Homburg Group of Companies in 2007 as
Vice-President, Development of Homburg Canada Inc., where he held responsibility
for the $400 million Viger project in Montréal and the $50 million redevelopment
project in Charlottetown.
Jan has rich experience in project management in Canada and abroad. Prior to
joining Homburg, Jan held increasingly senior positions with Fairmont Hotels and
Resorts for which he managed hotels in several locations in Canada, the
Caribbean and Monte Carlo. He also earned significant management experience with
the Walt Disney Company where he was involved in the pre-opening and the opening
of Disneyland Paris.
Jan is originally from The Netherlands where he completed his undergraduate
studies. He then completed the AMPHI program at the University of Guelph and a
summer program in executive management at Cornell University in the state of New
York. Jan has obtained an Executive MBA from McGill University and HEC Montréal.
