The Montréal Area

Montréal is the largest city in the province of Québec and after Toronto, it is the largest city in Canada. As of January 1st, 2006, Montréal had an estimated population of around 1,650,000. Montréal is also a major international commercial, industrial, financial, and cultural hub, with a downtown area largely filled with skyscrapers.
